Our Safety Commitment

Gmingo Ventures is committed to a safe marketplace for buyers, vendors, creators, delivery partners, and pickup stations. We design our products, policies, and support processes to reduce fraud, protect personal data, and keep commerce fair.

  • We do not tolerate fraud, harassment, hate, exploitation, or illegal activity on the platform.
  • We continuously improve detection, verification, and dispute workflows as new risks appear.
  • When something goes wrong, we give you clear channels to report it and get help.

Buyer Protection

When you shop on Gmingo, several layers help protect your purchase:

  • Escrow & trusted checkout: Eligible orders can use escrow or official payment partners so funds follow platform rules instead of unverified personal transfers.
  • Verified listings: Vendors and products go through approval and quality checks before they appear widely on the marketplace.
  • Order tracking: Delivery and pickup status updates help you know where your parcel is and when it was handed over.
  • Returns pathway: Eligible returns and refunds follow our Returns & Refund Policy through official Gmingo channels.

Never pay sellers outside Gmingo for marketplace orders. Off-platform payments are not protected.

Vendor & Creator Standards

Sellers and creators must keep the marketplace safe and truthful:

  • List accurate titles, images, prices, stock, and shipping or access details.
  • Only sell products and digital content you are legally allowed to distribute.
  • Comply with product safety, age-restricted goods, and prohibited-item rules.
  • Respond to buyer issues promptly and cooperate with dispute, escrow, and return processes.
  • Do not solicit buyers to complete payments, downloads, or deals outside Gmingo.

Delivery & Pickup Safety

Logistics partners play a critical role in trust:

  • Update shipment status honestly and confirm deliveries or station handovers as required.
  • Handle parcels carefully and follow customer-contact and verification guidelines.
  • Report damage, refusal, failed delivery, or suspected tampering through approved Gmingo tools.
  • Never request extra unofficial fees from buyers or sellers for platform orders.

What We Do Not Allow

Examples of prohibited conduct include (non-exhaustive):

  • Scams, phishing, fake “payment confirmation,” or impersonating Gmingo staff.
  • Harassment, threats, doxxing, or abusive messaging.
  • Listing counterfeit, stolen, dangerous, or illegal goods and content.
  • Manipulating reviews, ratings, or search with deceptive practices.
  • Attempting to bypass escrow, fees, or account security controls.

Violations may lead to listing removal, fund holds, account suspension, or referral to authorities where required by law.

How to Report a Concern

If you see something unsafe or suspicious, report it quickly:

  • In-app / support: Open Help Centre or Contact Us and describe what happened, with order numbers or screenshots where possible.
  • Email: Write to our support inbox with the subject “Safeguarding report” so the team can prioritize triage.
  • Urgent harm: If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then notify Gmingo.

How We Respond

When a report arrives, we aim to:

  • Acknowledge and triage based on risk (fraud, safety, policy breach, or general dispute).
  • Gather evidence from orders, messages, listings, and partner logs where available.
  • Take proportionate action — warning, mediation, refund pathway, suspension, or permanent ban.
  • Keep reporters updated when we can, without disclosing confidential investigation details.

Stay Safe Tips

Simple habits that protect your account and money:

  • Keep your password private and enable account security features available on your profile.
  • Only complete checkout inside Gmingo; ignore DMs asking for bank transfers to personal accounts.
  • Check seller ratings, product details, and delivery method before placing large orders.
  • Inspect parcels at pickup or delivery when possible and report issues promptly.
  • Beware of “too good to be true” prices and urgent pressure tactics.
