Terms of Service Clear rules for a trusted marketplace

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Gmingo marketplace, websites, apps, and related services operated by Gmingo Ventures (the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

To use Gmingo you must meet these requirements:

• You must be 18 years or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to register and transact.
• You agree to provide accurate registration details and keep your account information up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.
• We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise in breach of these Terms.

When you shop on Gmingo:

• You are responsible for accurate shipping, contact, and payment details at checkout.
• Orders are subject to product availability, vendor confirmation, and our payment and delivery processes.
• Prices, fees, and taxes shown at checkout apply to that order unless a clear error is corrected before fulfillment.
• Returns and refunds follow our Returns & Refund Policy where an item is eligible.

Vendors selling on Gmingo agree to:

• List accurate product titles, descriptions, images, pricing, and stock information.
• Fulfill approved orders within the timelines and quality standards set by Gmingo policies.
• Only sell products they are legally allowed to sell and that comply with applicable Nigerian law and platform rules.
• Handle customer issues promptly and cooperate with dispute, return, and escrow processes.

Creators who upload digital products or courses agree that:

• They own or have rights to distribute the content they list.
• Digital files, access rules, and refund eligibility follow product settings and platform policy.
• Misleading listings, copyright infringement, or harmful content may result in removal and account action.

Delivery and pickup partners must:

• Update shipment status honestly and confirm deliveries or handovers as required.
• Handle parcels with care and follow route, security, and customer-contact guidelines.
• Report issues (failed delivery, damage, refusal) through the approved Gmingo channels.

Marketplace payments are processed through approved payment partners and platform workflows.

• Buyers authorize charges for orders, delivery fees, and applicable platform fees shown at checkout.
• Vendor and creator payouts may be held in escrow or pending status until delivery or policy conditions are met.
• Chargebacks, fraud investigations, or policy breaches may delay or reverse payouts.

You must not use Gmingo to:

• Post illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful content or listings.
• Interfere with platform security, scrape data abusively, or attempt unauthorized access.
• Harass other users, manipulate reviews, or circumvent fees and sanctions.
• Move payments outside official Gmingo channels in ways that avoid escrow or buyer protection.

Gmingo branding, software, and platform content are owned by Gmingo Ventures or its licensors. Product content remains owned by the listing party, who grants Gmingo a license to host, display, and promote that content as needed to operate the marketplace.

The Services are provided on an “as available” basis. While we work to keep Gmingo reliable and secure:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that every listing is accurate.
• Vendors and creators are responsible for their products; delivery partners are responsible for their logistics services.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gmingo Ventures’ liability for claims arising from the Services is limited as described in applicable agreements and Nigerian law.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk for other users, or misuse the platform. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that should survive (such as payment obligations, IP, and liability limits) will continue after termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will show a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms, except where additional consent is required by law.
